NO TOTES FOR YOU
Edit: I received an email from the owner of the site that was giving away bags. It turns out that their sponsor backed out at the last second. So no bags for anyone 🙁 If you want a free tote, try this. I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Remember, all these free tote bags don’t do any good unless you actually bring them to the store and use them instead of plastic bags, so get on that!

Yup, it's me again :0 You raise an interesting thought in my mind with your comment about yet another free tote bag. You know what? You're absolutely right...it's getting ridiculous how many free tote bags I'm accumulating and I bet that everyone else out there is experiencing the very same reusable bag overload. So Eco Joe, I present a challenge to you, master of greenery and all thing eco-logical. Would you be willing to create a new post which explores what the environmental consequences of all these reusable bags might be? Are these things even biodegradable? Aren't many of them made from the very same plastic that we are supposed to be steering clear of? Can they actually BE recycled once they become beat up beyond repair? I look to you for all of the answers Eco Joe, so please don't let me down! By the way, if you cross-post your findings on www.greenwala.com, then I'm convinced that you might be able to cultivate your very own following of eco-groupies.
Ah, very good questions, Ms. Elizah Leigh. I started wondering about some of that when I noticed how many totes I have (much more than I can use at one time). I shall begin investigating posthaste.

Also, do you work with Greenwala? I'd be interested in working something out with them that'd be mutually beneficial. Por favor dígame.
Bloody 'ell, Eco Joe...what a tease! On second thought, maybe that manufacturer is doing everyone a favor. If any of your readers are in desperate need of reusable bags, it turns out that you can make them yourself with little effort from old t-shirts lying around the house. If you use old concert tees, they can actually look kind of cool, too. This link offers step-by-step instructions and believe it or not, all you need is scissors and duct tape to pull it off!! http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1...
