Welp, last Saturday was the 2010 Henside the Beltline Tour D’ Coop, a big chicken-coop tour in Raleigh. Me and the lovely EcoTiff donated some non-perishable food at Cup a Joes, got us a chicken tour map, and away we went on a journey of chicken knowledge, touring other people’s eco-friendly yards, and homespun wisdom.

Enjoy these digital works o’ art, AKA pictures of chickens.

300 Ramblewood Drive Chickens

404 Merwin Chickens

501 Mial

709 Ravel

Lastly, but not leastly, I give you this short video of a rooster proclaiming himself the bauss of his coop.

  1. This breed of chicken has been the most rare one that I have seen for the first time. It was a good idea to know about this breed of chicken because I was willing to get it for breeding.
